Bristol IT Company are pleased to announce after a competitive tender process that we have been awarded a 3-year contract to supply IT services to The Bottle Yard Studios.
Located in Hengrove, South Bristol, The Bottle Yard Studios is the largest dedicated film and TV studio facility in the West of England. A Bristol City Council initiative, it is home to a host of productions across different genres including dramas like Poldark (BBC), The Spanish Princess (STARZ) and Broadchurch (ITV), gameshows Tipping Point (ITV) and The Crystal Maze (Channel 4) and children’s TV such as Andy’s Safari Adventures (CBeebies) and Steve Backshall’s Deadly Dinosaurs (CBBC). Its on-site community of 23 businesses deliver specialist creative, digital, technical and audio/visual expertise.
Bristol IT will provide internet connectivity and full time onsite IT support for The Bottle Yard, allowing the Studios’ small operational team to concentrate on enabling clients to make great TV & film with the support of a fast, modern and well supported IT infrastructure. In partnership with Alliance Communications, Bristol IT will also provide a cloud hosted VoIP telephony platform that will increase flexibility, whilst also reducing costs.
