Assured Digital Technologies are proud to announce that for 2022 we will be supporting Caring in Bristol as our charity of the year.
Joining their partnership program, we will be fundraising throughout the year in efforts to raise awareness around the charity and the people they help, alongside looking to raise as much as possible to help them achieve their mission.
Speaking about the partnership, Caring in Bristol said: “We feel incredibly proud and extremely privileged to be partnered with the amazing team at Assured Digital Technologies. As a local charity that has only just recently dipped their toes into the world of corporate fundraising, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have such a great partner working with us. At Caring in Bristol we really do believe that Bristol can be the first UK city to solve the homelessness crisis but it is only possible through building partnerships like this one. Having received support in the form of laptop donations that has been a massive benefit for our young people, we have already begun seeing the benefits of our joint venture and we are all extremely excited about the fundraising activities coming up”.
About Caring in Bristol
Launched in 1987 as ‘Caring at Christmas’, the charity has brought together passionate Bristolians across the city, working together as volunteers over the festive season to make a difference to those sleeping rough.
They now provide 365 days of care and have developed a skilled and passionate team to build partnerships across the city with the aim of bringing lasting change.
Creating a city empowered to solve homelessness, Caring in Bristol work in imaginative and creative ways with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, with public and community partners to bring about lasting change and beyond.
Supporting those at risk or facing homelessness for over three decades, by partnering with the charity to become one of their ‘Caring Corporates’, we hope that we can support people experiencing homelessness and help the charity affect positive change.
Working across a number of projects, the charity provides vital services and support for homeless and vulnerable people.
Caring in Bristol believes that everyone has the right to a home, to have hope, and to feel part of a community, that’s why they work across a number of projects helping people who are sleeping rough but also help prevent and support people so they don’t end up on the street in the first place.

Our Initiatives
Over the last few months, our team has been coming up with initiatives in which we can fundraise for the charity in a range of creative ways. Over the year we’ll be supporting the charity with team events planned throughout 2022.
Technology support
One of the ways in which we can help the charity is by helping to provide technology equipment, so this year we will be sourcing technology equipment so we can donate it to the charity, to support the people they are working with. We’re currently on a technology sourcing drive and if you would like to donate anything, please let us know at [email protected].
Game-athon
During May, we’ll be taking on a game-athon, with a number of people from our team taking part. As part of the game-athon, we’ll be live-streaming the day so stay tuned for all the details.
Fundraising evening
As part of our fundraising activities for the charity, we’ll be hosting an evening of activities to raise as much money as we can for the charity. With a whole host of ideas at the ready, we’re really looking forward to an evening of exciting activities.
Bristol Half Marathon/10k
As we take part in the annual Bristol Half Marathon/10k, we’ll be putting together a team of runners to take part and help fundraise for the charity.
Winter sleepout
With the nights starting to draw in, planned for October is a winter sleepout to help raise funds and awareness around homelessness.
Christmas donation boxes
As we head into the festive period, we’ll be putting together some donation boxes for the charity with a number of gifts inside.
In addition to this, throughout the year we’ll be undertaking a number of volunteering opportunities to help the charity in any way that we can.
